Error Message :System error 1726

Hello friends,

I am facing an issue with my System.Whenever i am trying to take a print out over from the network i am getting the following error message


Unable to list the printers on \\comp1, Error = 1726. The remote procedure call failed.

Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Sure i will help you out with this issue did you try to check the network connection.If it is proper then try to ping the remote Server by Computer name.

I am able to ping it to the server but not able to get a print from my PC and for more information i am using Windows XP SP2

I was also facing similar type of issue i try to check the Windows XP firewall and found the File and Printer Sharing was not enabled. After enabled it, i can get the printout without any issue.
