    Problem to configure a network

I decided (finally) to try to secure my home network.

For my computer, everything went well.

For the computer my mom there is a problem
When I open the wireless network connection and I do "Properties" there are only 2 tabs: General and Advanced. There is no tab "Wireless Networks". I would find "Use Windows to configure my wireless network 'that is in this tab but I can not find it.

Sometimes I have a message that Windows can not configure the network pc another program was used to configure it. What does that mean exactly? I am the one who set up the network but I do not remember how I did.

    Can you enlighten me please

    Thank you

The computer probably has a utility is installed with the wifi network card, it must find and disable the software management of wireless networks with this software to allow Windows to manage wireless networks.

Re: Problem to configure a network

Birdie : The program at the conference that you mentioned is probably the one I used when I installed the card. I do not know anything and I accept the offer to use a program that came with the card. I'll try to find what it is and remove it.

ThoMas321 : I tried Network Magic, but it also gives me the message that nothing can be done because another program is already managing the network.

I will follow the suggestion of Birdie and then I can install Network Magic.

I will tell you how it goes?
