Hello , Sometimes the security settings will only let certain MAC addresses connect to the network as well as the password protection. Make certain that yours isn't filtering out MAC addresses.

Hello , Have you registered your router at D-Link, You can reset your router to default settings (hard reset)? Does this happen right out of the box, without any encryption, or does it only happen when you encrypt the router?

Hello Check any / all software firewalls settings. Some may be configured to block the router's IP address (aka your network gateway access.) Alternative You Can Download the Latest Firmware from here

    1. Step 1: Click Start and select Run.

    2. Step 2: Type: cmd and press Enter.

    3. Step 3: Type: ipconfig and press Enter.

The IP Address of your router will be listed under Default Gateway.

Note: The default IP address for most D-Link routers is 192.168.0.1.
