Retrieve or reset the password for my wireless router

Hello,
I have a Linskys Router set up my dell laptop, I lost my password to connect to my wireless router , it says my password is incorrect. How can I get the password or reset it ?

You need to log into your routers configuration and look in the wireless section under security and see what security key is set in the router. There is no other way to find the security key.

The default password is "admin". No username required. If you don't remember the correct password and you don't want to use some brute-force cracking software the only option is to reset the router pressing reset for 30 seconds. After that everything should be back to factory defaults including the default password.

If you have setup a password on your wireless router, you reset the router to factory defaults by holding down the reset button for about a minute. This will initialize the router to factory defaults and you can reset our router with a new password/pass key.

BTW the factory reset button in near the power cord at the back of the router. sometimes they are visible and others you will just find a small hole where you will use a pin to reset the router.
