Need help to remove Win32:Rootkit Virus

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC,I don't know what has happened to my PC but i guess my PC has got affected with Win32 Rootkit Virus.Can anyone tell me what steps or precaution i need to take for removing it.

Intel Dual core 2.66 Ghz
915 MSI Motherboard with Intel chipset
512 mb RAM
80gb HDD

Sure i will help you out with this issue try to follow this steps:-

1. Turn off System Restore.
   
   
   • On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
   • Click Properties.
   • Click the System Restore tab.
   • Check Turn off System Restore.
   • Click Apply, and then click OK.
   
   
   
2. Restart your computer
   
   
3. Turn ON System Restore.
   
   • Click on the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
   • Click on Properties.
   • Click on the System Restore tab.
   • Now have a un-check on Turn off System Restore.
   • Click on Apply and then click OK.
