USB access is forbidden by the server

Hi I am Gayatri, as I put the USB no response there in my computer.
I checked the controll panel , no installation problem is there .
I think USB access is blocked. Can anybody reply me how to block and unblock the USB access. I have loaded Vista

Before solving your problem just a small question: you are on personal computer or on server? Because if you are on personal computer, unblocking the USB is quiet possible with the help of registry tweak whereas if you are on a server (in your office or like that), its impossible because it has been blocked by the system administrators. You need to contact them to get the access.

For the registry tweak to get the access:

Go to registry editor by tying "regedit" on the command prompt. Now change the dword to 3 as shown below

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR]
“Start” = dword:00000003
