How to setup internet over wireless ad hoc network

HI,

I have some strange problem with my Wireless connection, I have wired internet connection and wanted to setup with other computers on a wireless ad hoc network is it possible and if possible then please let me know...

To achieve this you have to configure your wireless NIC for Ad-Hoc netoworking using whatever network name you’re wanting to use. Then it’s pretty much just following the “wizard” to share the one connection over the other.

Internet Connection Sharing application in your programs folder is the way to share it.

But you need to tweak it or download wmwifirouter to use WIFI.

Similarly you need to do some tweaking to sync over wifi.

There is also one to do this and i found this way very simple.

1. disable internet connection sharing
2. bridge your ethernet and wireless cards together
3. create an ad-hoc network on the wireless card
4. connect to the wireless ad-hoc network
5. test connection

And important thing is that while doing and testing your connection make sure that your wired network card is plugged in.
