| Remove Windows Security Alert
hi i am using Windows XP with Service Pack 2. previously I want to know can i manage security update to not automatically download Windows updates and also How can I remove the pop up and notice icon from lower right tool bar. please tell me. Thank you. |

i am using vista but for xp i think There is a line on the security window that allow to change the way security alerts for you by Unchecked everything. |

here is solution for you go to security help there scroll down at bottom you can see option for windows update there you can disable automatic updates by clicking on switch off automatic update. |

to remove from tool bar pop up try this go to start click on run write msconfig window appear with some tabs go to services tab scroll down there uncheck automatic update and security center restart pc done |
