ohmy Problem with Dial up connection

    Hello Everyone,

I'm having problem while accessing the internet, i have a dial up connection at home. Whenever reboot my laptop, i can only access for about five to six minutes and it automatically get disconnected. It shows an error message that "The page cannot be displayed" and "Cannot find server or DNS Error". I'm using Outlook Express for accessing the internet and it doesn't have any issue with it. Can any one help me out to resolve this issue?

    Thank you.

Re: Problem with Dial up connection

There can be several things that can cause you this error message. The most common reasons we have seen are as follows:

    * A firewall or router is blocking access on your network on port 443.

    * The private key for your certificate does not match or is not associated correctly with the certificate.

    * The DNS entries for the web site are configured incorrectly.

    * The web server is not configured to run on port 443 for https requests.

    * The web site is not the IIS Default Website and has not been bound to an IP address for https requests. (IIS defaults this to "All Unassigned")

    1) Double-click the connection to try again.

    2) Check to see if TCP/IP is installed in the network settings.

    3) Check username, and password case. Must be in lowercase.

    4) If all else fails delete network settings and reinstall DUA, and TCP/IP

Hey if you still face the same problem, then try to open your DOS window and clear the DNS cache' by using the command ipconfig /flushdns.
