Router/ Vista Problem

Hi,

On Saturday, i tired searching for wireless networks. but was unsucessful, came back with;

'Windows cannot find any networks'

Even though i was sitting in the same room as my Belkin 54g wireless router !

Tried a couple of setting changes etc. and sytem restore to when it was working perfectly still no joy !

Now sometimes i can pick up the network but my Advent 5431 vista laptop won't connect to it !

Today i looked in Network Connections and the wireless adapter is not showing !!

Please help! I need my wireless internet to complete my work !

There are multiple reason for this. It can be a hardware issue or just need to work with configuration settings. First check that the wireless button on your system is not turned off. Then check your firewall settings. If they are set to maximum protection then this can block a incoming connection. Try to reconfigure your entire wireless settings. Like creating back a new connection.
