    Cisco high speed router

    hi i am having course training in networking. The computer world is moving every second i want to know how much faster router is available for networking ?? also all such router can useful for normal users? please kindly give me information about such routers .thank you .

    what i know is Cisco 7200 Series, which is used at my work place i am not expert in this but enthusiastic to know things around me. exceptional price/performance. The new NPE-G2 Network Processing Engine aggregates services at up to 2 Mpps.

    now new product is getting speed up .speed is not restricted to megabyte now 4 Gigabit router in used .which is awesome thing.

    SR4134 Chassis Base System, 128MB CF, 1GB DDR, 2U Router with 4 Gigabit Ethernet

    both are high speed material .

    i want to ask why normal user want to use high speed router? all high speed router come with great price simply they are not cheap .
