    Choosing a networks switch

    I would like to hear your opinion on a network switch
    4.5 or 6 ports

    So not any hub will not be the case.
    Simply because a hub is not a switch.

    A switch is a multi-intelligent network, which sends messages to those involved.
    A hub is a simple strip: "it's just the thread" => all messages circulating on the collision area are sent to everyone. The result is a flow and connectivity, well below that of a network based on one or more switch.

    For a good idea of what you'll be able to do, check out the manual for the ASUS switch.

    Which one to Use 4.5 or 6 ports switch is depending on your network requirement . so read about VLANs and decide your requirement .
