Re: FTP Client for MAC

hi
i used Fetch FTP and SFTP client . Fetch 5.3 include an updated appearance for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, support for Leopard technologies including code signing and the application firewall, Copy-Paste uploads, and a preference for disabling all file decoding. Fetch 5.3 is a Universal binary, compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, including Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on Intel and PowerPC Macintoshes.

so you can be sure form not sniffing, check this link and try it

Re: FTP Client for MAC

hi
check this FTP client with automation features.AbleFtp is designed with automation in mind, so you do not have to spend time interactively transferring files. Features include:
Simple User Interface helps you transfer files interactively, but the Goal is to get you to create advanced ftp tasks that can be scheduled automatically or run manually.
Automate FTP to/from an intranet or internet server. Schedule ftp of files between your PC and the server and automatically rename the files based on current month, day or time if needed. Ftp supports wildcards (*). Transfer multiple files at once. Supports subdirectory transfers.

so you can go for more from here
