Problem with Ad-aware

When I start Ad-aware, this message appears:
System Error: 1814 has occurred. Description: Unable to connect to the service. Do you use this application with another identifier? Application complete.
I use my account that is an administrator account. I used my account to install Ad-aware. I am running Windows XP Professional SP3.
