Problems with Filezilla - File Sharing

I'm looking for uploading large number of pictures with friends. I turned to the Free (my ISP) file sharing. I installed FileZilla and tries to upload my files. The connections seems to be established but an error prevents the upload. Here is the log of messages followed:

    Code:
    Status: Offline server
Status: Resolution of the address for dl.free.com
Status: Connecting to 212.27.63.33:21 in progress ...
Status: Connection established. Waiting for welcome message ...
    Answer: 220 HADL-13 FTP server (Version 0.1 - 2007/06/11 00:49) ready.
Command: USER "my e-mail addresses free"
Answer: 331 User name okay, need password ..
    Command: PASS ******
    Answer: 230 anonymous user login
    Status: Connected
Status: Checking the contents of the directory ...
    Command: PWD
Answer: 257 "/" is current directory.
    Command: TYPE I
Answer: 200 Type set to I
    Command: PASV
Answer: 227 Entering Passive Mode (212,27,63,33,8209).
    Command: LIST
    Answer: 150 Connection port 52,336
    Answer: 226 OK
    Error: Waiting period expired
Error: Failed to read the contents of the directory
    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you in advance

I do not know the FTP Free, but one you described is an anonymous FTP
Command: USER "my e-mail addresses free"
Answer: 331 User name okay, need password ..
    Command: PASS ******
    Answer: 230 anonymous user login
    Status: Connected

    You are therefore connected.
You must therefore see your Files.
After it is empty unless there is nothing to see.
Is there nothing was done to activate the service on the management page

    Another trick:
Try to configure Filezilla to stay in active mode and not switch to passive mode. Answer: 227 Entering Passive Mode (212,27,63,33,8209).

the server name is set to ftp***.com not dl.free.com

just to reason, you should activate the "Personal pages" from the management of free files sharing account

Thank you for these initial responses.

According to the tutorial on the site Free It is set dl.****.com and The connection seems fine. The error is a failure to read the directory.
    What directory?
A local directory on my hard drive? Here there are surely not because I have not been able to create. This service has apparently nothing to do with personal pages
