Hello,
I have a network of 3 PCs with Windows. One of them should act as a file server and an Access database release, so that all 3 PCs, including the server itself, simultaneously on the database.
On the server is installed Vista Home Premium. The file sharing or access over a network drive of the first two clients to work smoothly (with read and write access).
Now is that after a few minutes parallel access to the file, the software that accesses to the file, hangs on all systems.
But is it so that when only two of the three systems (no matter which two) to simultaneously access the file, everything works smoothly.
I suspect a problem with the server functionality of Vista Home Premium. Unfortunately I do not like Vista, the parallel access to the file in regulates background or whether the Home Premium version as a missing functionality, for example, under Vista Business would be available.
Thanks !!!
