Limited connectivity - network not recognized

Dear users,

Each time leaving the Ethernet cable from the PC drive (Win XP) and the attack on the laptop (HP Pavilion DV5 with Vista Home) icon becomes connection with a triangular orange exclamation mark, and I get the voice connectivity limited - no network recognized.

This issue up to a week ago there was not enough because I attach the ethernet cable to the laptop and connects automatically to fastweb (10 Mega).

I hope to be able to find a solution and for this I thank you in advance.

The DHCP is the system that automatically assigns IP addresses to your PC.

Re: Limited connectivity - network not recognized

Try using an uninstall tool IF you have Norton products on your computer. That would be Symantec too. If you do have either of those (same thing) on there, just make SURE you don't uninstall from the add/remove programs, because it leaves fragments on your drive and in your registry that will clearly mess up your internet connection. I was having DHCP problems too, but that was the last straw, and last gasp for breath, and it worked. Take care and have a nice day

Try reinstalling the drivers for the modem again and see if the problem persists.
