Problem with the wi-Fi on an Acer Laptop

Hi!
I recently purchased an Acer Travelmate 2480-2153 Laptop with windows vista . I am facing a problem with the windows vista, whenever i try to surf internet everything works fine when its attached to the modem via cables, bur for some reason, when i try wireless; none of the driver i downloaded for the wireless controller seem to be working (i tried all that I could find at acer.com: atheros, broadcom, intel, etc).

Can anyone please be kind enough to tell me where can I find the right one ? thank you in advance

There's an XP driver for the wifi but nothing for Vista. All Vista drivers for other components are available though. better you install windows XP.
