    Hi Shell
Setting up of an Local interanet is little bit treaky but not difficult, here i will provide you some guidelines just follow, Setup IIS like you normally do. Then setup your internal DNS entries pointing to your internal IIS server.Make sure your clients can resolve the names, that is about it in setting up a intranet server. Hope this will help you.

    Hi,
*First: You need to have a server. The server needs to have web server software such as Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
*Second: Decide what you want the Intranet to do, what sort of functions it will offer.
*Third: Decide what the Intranet pages will look like.
*Fourth: Create web pages to display content to the end users.

yes Shell,As long as your 'clients' will point to it as their DNS server. This is required for clients to resolve your internal DNS.
    Reply, if any confusion.
