I am sharing my D-Link router with my 4 other room mates. I want to isolate my computer from them and don't want them to see or make any changes on my computer. Is this possible? If yes then how can I do that?

If I am not wrong then it is by default set on your router and so you don't need to worry or do anything. Unless and until you allow any folder or file on your system to be shared on the network, it is impossible for them to even view your data. So just relax.
I agree with Archibald. Every router available now (whether wired or wireless) isolate each and every computer from each other and don't allow them to view each others data unless it is explicitly mentioned to do so even if they are in same network or connected to same router/switch.
With roomates, they can easily go in to your room and change settings that will allow them access to your computer. If they also have access to change the settings on the hub, they can see the log which shows what sites your computer has been communicating with.
Make sure you lock your computer/log off and do not share any folders.
Agree, by default the router is not sharing your info.
Thanks guys for your help, I will keep that in mind.
