FTP and Internet Explorer

Hello everyone

while I was downloading I saw a program that I liked and I wanted to download and there oh! gag! IE tells me that I am heading to an FTP server and I need a name and password to log
What should I do? What is the system that block? Finally, can you help me?

What is the program that you wanted to download?
The problem does not comes from you, but for the moment the server might be having problem. These problems are to be resolved by the server owners.

The owner of the FTP site has set a user name and password on the program/folder that you want to access.

He might not know it, because when you set password to a parent (higher level) folder, the authentication usually gets inhereted by sub folders and files.

Send him/her and email and notify about the situation.
