msupdte.exe spyware

Hello, I have a problem with the msupdte.exe spyware. I also tried to remove its entry from hjt but I get an error message saying that, "Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\msupdte.exe". I also cant find any results of it while searching. Previously while I was using Nod32 my cpu usage was running at 80/90% as it was blocking a Win32 Adware. So I think that due to this I still have some of the remains of the adware. I am also having problem with my network connections. Any advice would be great. Thanks

You should remove the msupdte.exe from your computer as soon as possible.
Msupdte.exe is Trojan/Backdoor.
Kill the process msupdte.exe and remove msupdte.exe from Windows startup.

For remove msupdte.exe virus,please run antivirus Run a full system scan and clean/delete all msupdte.exe infected files and Delete/Modify any values added to the registry. Navigate to the subkey and delete the values as following msupdte.exe details:

during loading a blank cmp window pops up and in the title bar it has msupdte.exe
has only been popping up for the last week this has never hapnd befor .googled it and found that it is bad have tried to search on how to remove it .wud rather ask for help from evperienced users instead of diving in head first n messing up my pc. other then this minor anoyance of the pop up during windows booting up dont think ive noticed anything overly unusuall prop have alot of other spyware.virus,malware on my pc

easiest way to remove it, especially since its an obvious EXE file.

boot using a linux CD, or even try safe mode, and rename it to a txt file and move it out of the directory.

when you reboot, its likely to throw errors that it cant find a startup file, then just find out where its trying to launch from and remove the launcher.

check: schedualled tasks, msconfig, registry: Run, RunOnce and Shell, autoruns on HDD's.

and you should be good.
