Infected with XP AntiVirus 2008?

Hello, Just today in the morning when I was surfing on the net, I was hit by this antivirus - XP AntiVirus 2008 out of the blue it was just installed on my pc. This was very wierd & when I tried to uninstall it, it didnt have any options or even any closing options cause on clicing on the cross button it didnt go but stayed in my quick icon displaying annoying alerts of 2000-3000 viruses on pc every 5 seconds. Also when I tried to remove it from add & remove I was getting the microsoft dialog box with "send this message" & it continued with the same without it being getting uninstalled. So, please tell me how can I get rid of this antivirus which doesnt seems that it is an antivirus but a virus itself? Thanks in advance

This Antivirus XP 2008 is a anti-spyware program which is advertised by Trojans & other malicious malwares. This antivirus is advertised as a fake security alerts on sites that say you that you are infected with viruses or malwares. In some rear cases, this program is installed without any notification to you or when you click on the ads it will be automatically installed on your pc.

To uninstall it download the zip file of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware attached here & extract it & install it by closing all open windows on your computer. When the installation is finished make sure to check the box for Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. After the update is finished perform a full scan of your pc and once your pc is fully scanned, click on the show results that will be displaying & remove all the nasties from your computer. Do a restart of your machine & you will see that this anti-virus has been removed.
