What will you prefer PCI or PCIe card

I am thinking of to buy a wireless card for my computer. My computer supports both PCI and PCIe. So I am really confused as to which card should I go for? Please help me.

PCI:
Advantages: Common place, easy to find peripherals.
Disadvantages: Too slow anymore for high-end multimedia.

PCI-e:
Advantages: High speed, expandable, smaller form factors
Disadvantages: Not common place yet, hard to find cards.

PCI-Express is the new standard for faster video cards and it has nothing to do with wireless card. So you will not use all of the features that the slot offers.
