Securing my internet connection?

I have belkin router & i want to secure it so how can i block a wireless computer from hacking in to my router & to my internet?

Best way to secure internet connection is with a password. Put a password to your internet connection you will get secured!

If you dont use the wireless feature then just turn it off completely. If you use the feature then just add the computers you want to get the access for internet in the router setup for its access list.

First go to the command prompt
1)Type in "ipconfig"
2) In your Internet browser type in "http://" followed by your default gateway (found in the command prompt)
***Example: http://192.168.1.1 (click the link)
3) Login (search online for login info) Usually admin, password
3) There should be a link on the side somewhere. It should have several options like WEP, WPA etc.
