    There are much confusion on playing NFS MW using Hamachi. So for this, here is a simple guide that has all files that is required to play. MW- Hamachi is required to be downloaded only by the creator & others who want to join can hust use the basic Hamachi program. You have to use the MW-Hamachi program for the game creator along with the normal Hamachi as you cant be used MW-Hamachi alone. Now this is required for all the people who want to create the game by editing X:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted\server.cfg

    Open the server.cfg file with notepad and

    Step 1 edit server.cfg
    ##------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ## DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING BELOW HERE
    ##------------------------------------------------------------------------

    TRUST=255.255.255.255
    TRUST_MATCH=%%bind("5.x.x.x") put ure hamachi ip here

    ACCOUNT=1
    MASTER=1
    SLAVE=1
    REDIR=1

    #
    # This line allows the server to determine on what interface to listen for
    # connections. It can be any publicly routable IP address (this is the case
    # even if the host is on a LAN that is isolated from the Internet). There is
    # no communication attempted with the IP address listed here.
    #
    ADDR=%%bind("5.x.x.x") put your hamachi ip here

    Edit it to that and save.

    You dont need to use game creator, you can just use hamachi, just edit your server file.

    You will need to create a group or joing a friend's group. Only the group members have their computer connected as virtual LAN.

    I am not sure about Hamachi, but I found a ready to use Need of Speed Lan Server. I had attached the software to the post. You can download and simply run the launcher. In settings you can adjust settings related to port configuration. This is much easier to manage and play and there is no need to go in deep with network settings. Just run the launcher your server is activated and your friends just require to join you.

    To run that you need a appropriate NFS Most Wanter patch. Look for NFS MW Patch 1.3 and install it on your system. Second you need LogMeIn Hamachi with MW-Hamachi. Download all the files and keep them with you. After installing the game run the patch. Install Hamachi and create a network. Once done copy the MW Hamachi file in the installation directory of NFS game. Later on you will require to modify the server.cfg file inorder to provide your hamachi ip address. Run MW-Hamachi and type speed.exe.
