Adware has infected the .exe files

My antivirus software found an adware when I downloaded a couple of files from a website and has infected the .exe files on my pc. It forces me to delete them as they could not be cleaned. But I don't want to delete them. Can anyone help me? I doubt my antivirus software is not good because I got similar problem about a week ago.

Try using online virus scanners. You will find many free anti-virus app from the net. Also you can download and run if you want.

Then I think your antivirus is the culprit and is showing a false thing to you. Change your antivirus software.

I used avg and it dont show me anything. You are right Shen I will definitely change my antivirus software.
