| Re: Registered office 03, can't get rid of the EULA from popping u
Sorry, I installed Office basic 03 on one of our new computers, we had multiple licenses. I activated it like I had done previous installs, and like normal the first time you open word or excel etc the EULA pops up and either you accept or decline. I accepted it, but when I close and open it again it comes up again...every time. I can't get rid of it. It shows it is activated, but I don't know how to keep that EULA box from popping up every time. Please help. If you are using Windows Vista: Go to Control Panel --> User Accounts and turn-off User Account Control. Restart your computer, start an Office program, accept the EULA, restart an Office program to make sure EULA doesn't pop-up, go back to User Accounts and turn User Account Control on, then restart your computer once again. Otherwise: You must accept the Office End User License Agreement every time that you start an Office program: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884202/en-us -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows Vista Enthusiast --------------------------------------------------------------- "chip" <chip@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9968AD34-E81A-4706-B588-2B2852443BD3@microsoft.com... | Re: Registered office 03, can't get rid of the EULA from popping up?
issue is here for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0 you need to get into the registry and set permission to full control and that will solve the issue. |
