    Office 2007 Prof. constant crashing

I upgraded my Office to Office Professional 2007 just a month ago. It worked great for a week but later started giving me problems. All my office apps started crashing. Earlier the crash frequency was low but it is getting increased day by day. Now MS Word crashes more than 20 times a day, Outlook crashes about 10 times, and same with Powerpoint or excel.

As troubleshooting I tried installing all recent security patches from Windows Update, ran Office Diagnostic tools, Cleaned registry but nothing fixed the problem. I even contacted Microsoft Holland but no help from there as well.

Hope somebody here can tell me way to get rid of this annoying problem.

You tried so many things but did you tried re-installing the Entire Office suite again? You should have done it. Before you did make sure your e move office completely from the system with removing all its traces using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Also what is your Operating system?

Even I was facing the same problem after upgrading to Office 2007. My all official work depends on Excel and excel use to crash every 5 minutes for whatever reason. I tried to re-installation, diagnostics, scans, updates everything but nothing helped me to get rid of the same. At last, I had the last choice, removed Office 2007 and reverted back to Office 2003. Since then there is not a single crash.

Thanks for your reply Jacob. I am using Windows XP Professional. Let me also post the error details which may help you to get to the root of error. Here is the error with Outlook:
    szAppName: outlook.exe szAppVer: 12.0.6300.5000
    szModName: hungapp szModVer: 0.0.0.0 offset:00000000
    C:\docume˜1\Karin\Locals˜1\temp\werd5ed.dir00\outlook.exe.mdmp
    C:\docume˜1\Karin\Locals˜1\temp\werd5ed.dir00\appcompat.txt

    Here is the Word Error:
    AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 12.0.6211.1000 AppStamp:
    46d4a7df ModName: hpz3r5ha.dll ModVer: 61.71.244.0 ModStamp: 45f91d42 fDebug:
0 Offset: 000467e8 (and about 47 modules are sent with error reporting)

    Any help please?

So you are using HP printer and its PhotoSMart software, right? If you analyze your Word error it reports several thing related to the printer and PhotoSMart. What I will suggest you is try to change the default printer to some another printer to start, also check to see if your Adobe Acrobat (if you have more than just the Reader) product has all updates applied. Let me know the results.
