MS Office Professional 2007 - Upgrade from Trial to full version

I’m using Office Professional 2007 Trail on a Tablet laptop. Yesterday I bought a full version of the same office suite with product key. Now as my tablet doesn’t have CD drive, I cannot uninstall the trial and re-install this purchased version. Hence I tried converting my Trail office to Full version using the product keys I bought but it says “Product Key is invalid.”

Any idea why is it so? Any alternate method to activate the same?

First of all the product key you are trying to use is not for that trial version but the CD you have purchased. Product keys are meant individually for a specific product which cannot be used with any other Office suites. Hence you can’t convert Trail into full using those product keys.

Secondly, the only way is to uninstall Trail and Install the bought one. If you don’t have CD/DVD drive, than insert the CD on your other computer, copy the entire CD content to a USB drive. Connect USB drive on your laptop and run the setup from root of the folder.

Can somebody plz help me? I am having the same problem. I have the trial version and i tried to put the product key for full version, its not working. Its telling me that the code is invalid. How can i download the full version without paying anything bec. i already bought one, and i already have the product code. thnks
