Word 2007 SP 1 Crash on Close

Hi, I’m using Windows Vista with Office 2007 SP1. I have installed it recently. Installation went fine, but whenever I try changing page layout through the Ribbon or even through old Page Setup dialog box, my word crashes immediately. The changes I’m talking is like changing margins to narrow. And while saving the document, it crashes. This is happening in my Vista as well as another XP computer. Is it a bug?

Any idea how can fix this?

One thing I want to make clear. You said the Word crashes while saving. Is it when you press Ctrl+S in opened document or while closing and selecting Yes from pop up dialog box?

All Office applications on a clients cpu are repeatedly crashing.

The user is running Windows XP SP2 and using Office 07 SP1. She is doing nothing in common when these errors occur. They happen at random times and with all Office applications. The errors above just happen to be the most recent. Please help. I found all kinds of refrences to this but no fixes. I can't believe that my client is the first to experience an issue like this.

You can just try and repair your Microsoft Word 2007. For doing that you need to go to Control panel ---> Add Remove program ---> MS Office 2007 ---> Change ---> Repair.

Just follow this step it can solve your problem.
