MS-Excel 2007opens .xlsm file but does not display workbook/worksh

I never had any issue in saving an Excel 2007 macro enabled workbook on a Sharepoint 2007 mysite location. However, today one specific workbook I received macro warnings . I clicked on "Ok" and accepted the prompt for enabling the macro but now no workbook opens in the client. It shows "Book 1" if I opened excel, in case i try to close workbook "Book 1" and try exiting Excel then i get a prompt saying the files is opened.

I want to know if there is any workaround that i can try out for recovering the file content.
