"could not save item" shows when attempt add to calendar

If I am trying to ented a item to my calendar, the message "could not save item" appears. What am I suppose to do to solve this problem? Thanks.

What is the Outlook version that you are using, it could be a corrupted calendar. You can try to create another Calendar item folder and try it there. If that works, then try to copy the appointments to the new one, and then delete the old one and rename the new one to Calendar.

I dont think that you can delete the original calendar folder as it is a default folder and therefore cannot be deleted. If you can provide your Outlook version, then someone might be able to tell you how to delete the Forms Cache that causes this problem.
