How do i install an ocr language

When I try to scan a new document I received a message saying that "This
preset requires you to install the OCR language English. This is a recent
occurance and when I check my preset it is set for windows default, I tried
choosing English from the drop down menu, but the result is the same.

What program are you using for the scanning?

Rerun the MS Office setup. You need to install an Office component called "Optical Character Recognition Modules" Under the Prooofing tools(English).
