| Re: Microsoft Office Document Scanning & Imaging Issues
I am using Lexmark scanner with Office 2003 SP3 via MS Office Document Scanning 2003 and dont have any of that issues. When you are opening the document scanning app and creating a new preset, then will it scan properly. Do you use the Twain driver for the scanner or you are using an Automatic Document Feeder for the scanner? |

Even I was having the same issue with Office 2003 after applying Service Pack 3 and Microsoft Office Document Scanning used to crash when pressing the scan button. I found out from somewhere that the issue is with the length of the name of the scanner that was "Hewlett-Packard Officehet R40 Scanner". I renamed this device to "HP Officejet Scanner R40" and this solved the issue. |
