Since the problem is with Outlook then check the Add/Remove Programs for an add-in called Outlook Add-in. I was also having similar issues as you have described on my pc and that solved the problem for me, along with a couple other minor bugs I was getting. |

Check in Add and Remove Programs to see something like "Outlook Add-in", if it is there then it will solve the typing problem for you. Incase you are also getting a bug in Outlook where it automatically repeats appointments then it will also fix that problem. |

I know this is an old thread, but I have a new twist. I am running office 2007 on windows 7. There is significant lag in typing and I am a very slow typist. It is only in word, my outlook is fine. The problem exists only when my network printer is selected as my default printer. The only local printer I have is my pdf printer. Edit: The problem was solved, apparently an out of date printer driver was the issue. A new windows 7 printer driver for HP LaserJet 1018 was just released a couple of days ago. |
