PDFMaker toolbar missing from Office 2007 Standard

About a week ago I installed Office 2007 Standard on Windows XP SP3. After installing it I found that there is no PDFMaker toolbar in any of the office application, neither in word nor in Outlook. Is it just me or Microsoft has removed this toolbar from Office 2007 standard edition? I also tried installing COM Add-in PDFOutlook.dll but it dint worked.

A guy suggested me to check the registry keys because problem could be there as well. This is what I can see in the registries:

    "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\PDFMOutlook.PDFMOutlook

    (Default) REG_SZ (value not set); CommandLineSafe REG_DWORD 0x0000000 (0); Description REG_SZ PDFMOutlook; FriendlyName REG_SZ PDFMOutlook; LoadBehavior REG_DWORD 0x0000003 (3).
    "

Is there something wrong in this? Any help will be appreciated.

Well Microsoft has not removed it from any office edition. There would be some problem with your system itself. First of all check which version of Acrobat you are using. It should be atleast version 8. Upto Acrobat v7 is not compatible with Office 2007.

Thanks for the reply Irving. Mine is Version 7.0.9.

Are you certain? What site(s) can you refer me to to confirm that?

Talking about certain sites, it is Adobe's website which will confirm the same. They released a patch recently to make version 8 with Vista and Office 2007 compatible. Acrobat v7 will not be patched. You can read more about this here http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/vistasupport.html

As far as I know though PDFMaker toolbar doesn’t works with your office 2007, am sure Adobe PDF printer driver would be wtill working fine and hence you can yet access Acrobat 7's capabilities going that route. Simply select File > Print, and set the printer to Adobe PDF. Under Print Dialogue click Properties for the "Adobe PDF Document Properties".
