Deploy Office 2007 Compatibility pack with WSUS

I have added Office 2007 in GP0 but whenever i open a 2007 file, i get a warning saying "A converter needs to be installed".

What should i do?

You might have not configured the GPO properly.

For deploying the office 2007 compatibility pack via GPO you can follow below steps:

1. Download FileFormatConverters.exe from microsoft site
2. Run "FileFormatConverters.exe /extract:c:\temp"
3. Once you obtain the MSI file you can create a GPO ( It should be there in c:\temp\O12Conv.msi )
