Can anyone tell me what is the meaning of the service desk edition designation on the Office home and student 2007 version that I want to purchase? Thanks for any information in advance.

In reality, the Service Desk Edition is a retail product that can be used by locations such as retailers to use to support the sales and service of the Office 2007 product. It cannot be given to sale for general public is what I think about.
Even I bought the Office 2007 Home and Student pack and when I got at my place then I noticed that it had the "Service Desk Edition" letter written on the front conver? Can anyone tell me what does it mean? Isnt this the real thing that I am thinking about?
This same situation can also occur if your new computer came with a free trial version of Office 2007 Home and Student Edition that is preinstalled by the computer manufacturer and someone not properly installing a retail version of Office 2007 Pro edition on top of the free trial version. The proper solution would be to uninstall the free trial version before installing the retail version.
