Office Student and Home version install

I have a 2007 office standard trial version installed on my laptop and I want
to convert to the 2007 student and home version I purchased on line. After
several attemps failed to convert, I contacted microsoft help via phone and
was told to email my situation to the following;
msoffice.us@trymicrosoftoffice.com They responded by giving me a link which
was suppose to solve the situation. Well I'm still getting the same response
that my activation key is incorrect! This is extrememly frustrating since I
purchased this software from the Microsoft site and now can't get the suite
activated. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS PROCESS???

Re: Office Student and Home version install

You're going to need to completely remove the Standard trial version, and
then install Home & Student.

I have the same problem with my full version of the this software. My HP will not allow me to uninstall my program. Is it locked some where or what.

What "same problem"?
Please understand that the "forum" you bare posting to leeches off the
Microsoft News servers. Those of us (the vast majority) who read this news
group on the MS news server have no idea what the "same problem" is because
you haven't quoted the post you are replying to.
This is not your fault - the owners of the forum don't tell you this in
order to make their forum seem busier than it is.
You can remedy this by using a news reader and subscribing to these
newsgroups directly.
