MS Word 2002 (XP) won't open in full screen

Hello, I’m using Office 2002 on Windows XP Sp3. I installed it recently and have a very small query. Whenever I open MS Word, it opens in small window by default. However I can maximize to full screen by clicking Maximize icon but I wanted to know how can we make it launch in Fullscreen mode by default?

You can simply make it to open by default in FullScreen mode by Right clicking on its icon, select Properties, Run in Maximized. That’s it.

Thanks for the help jasonholt. I tried that as well but still opens in the same way, small window. Also yet I can maximize it by clicking on the maximize icon.

Any other help please?

I think if you close MS Word in maximized mode, next time when you will launch, it will open in maximized mode itself. Same happens when you close it in small window.
