Irritating "Version" error message

I am on a new Windows Vista Operating System and I dont want to purchase the Office 2007 program but want to use the Office 2003 version on it, but when I am trying to install it, then it will give me some annoying error message about the "Version"? Does anyone find a solution for this issue? Thanks.

Could you please tell us what kind of error message you are getting on your computer?

When you will check in the Control Panel at the installaed programs list, then are there any 2007 series products listed? It seems to me that, it could be possible that the separately installed Office 2007 Outlook Business Contact Manager add-in could be still installed in your pc. So, it might be that Business Contact Manager (BCM) from 2007 might not be compatible with Outlook 2003.
