Publisher 2007 - Insert Key

I have upgraded to office 2007 recently and i have found that the insert key on the keyboard doesn't enable the default option of overwriting text by default. I never faced any such issue while using office 2003, i want to know if there is anything i can try out to enable it.

As per my knowledge its like that only. By default, insert key on the keyboard doesn't enable the default option of overwriting text. This is because users do not edit their document in publisher, they edit it in word and simply do copy paste in Publisher. Personally i feel carrying out minor adjustment in test directly in Publisher is fine but for long documents, i will suggest you to use word.
