Unable to access Help in Office 2007

After upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007 from Office 2003, the F1 stopped working. It is a new Office suite for me and now I am having a problem while using it. I cannot simply find out some options for which I want to use the Help feature. But when I press F1 I receive a error. The error is related to improper setup. Everything is working proper except the help section. Does anyone knows any way to restore that.

You have to install Office again. It is always better to run the setup from scratch. That is helpful instead of simply upgrading stuff. You must install it properly from the installer. You can do one more thing. You can run a repair installation that will help you more. You can find the same through Office setup. Repair installation is another good way of fixing setup error in Microsoft Office.

Just re-install office that would fix the problem. If you are not having the setup files you can download a trail edition of Office suite and through that you can perform a repair setup that is more helpful. It works more properly according to me. The next time when you run the repair setup the files will be restored and by pressing F1 you will be able to get help working fine.

Nope, it's a regular English version.

    Hi

Have the same issue. Help not working in any of the Office 2007 suite. Clicking "?" or pressing F1 results in:-

    Office configuration process then,

it configures Microsoft Office MUI (English) 2007 and ultimately (after several minutes) tells me,

"There are no help topics available that match your request."

New Vista laptop, new install of Office 2007 (reinstalled twice, diagnosed several times).

    Arrgghh!

Hi All - just adding myself to the list of frustrated users with the 'help' problem. Just as a matter of interest - I am running Office 2007 on an evaluation copy of Windows 7. Hope some kind brain can come up with a solution!
