| Office 2007 classic look
How does one set the 'classic look' within Office 2007? Another words, have the same look and feel of 2003? |

Hi Jack, There isn't a 'classic view' available in the Office 2007 ribboned apps. Many of the Office 2003 app keyboard shortcuts still work, including the alt keys for the old menu choices, in some cases (Alt, T, O) in Word, for example will take you to the Tools=>Options equivalent for Office Button=>Word Options In help (F1) search on commands (in Officeline help) or Ribbon in online help to get to the interactive was/is guide and keyboard shortcut listings. For information from the MS Office 2007 User Interface Design team on the Ribbon and why there isn't a legacy view you may want to visit their blog at http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh ================= <<"Jack" <Jack@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AC5FDF87-1C56-4F58-A57D-82AA4A14ECF5@microsoft.com... Thank you for your response Bob, I get the feeling Microsoft is regressing to a grammar school style. I've been using the product for about 3 months now and I am so disappointed with this interface. Being in charge of software deployment I can honestly say, this is one suite which will not get deployed.
