Office 2007 adm Templates

I recently downloaded and installed the admin templates for Office 2007. After making a GP with the save formats for word set, excel, when previewing the settings in the GP Management Console I am getting the following error that states "The .adm file "Path-to-File"\cpao12.adm is not in a valid format and must be replaced. Details: A String is expected at line 56." I have also created the GP on both Windows XP computer with SP2 and also a Vista computer. Both GP's give the same error message. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

I am also facing the same issue also. I am on Vista, XP SP2 and Windows 2003 with SP1 and each one of them are having the same problem on my domain. Any one has a rea solution for same? Thanks.

Check out the below method to solve the issue:

You need to edit cpao12.adm using Notepad and then change the following:

VALUEON !!L_true
VALUEOFF !!L_false

TO

VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0


After that edit outlk12.adm using Notepad and then change the following

KEYNAME Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security
VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
VALUENAME PromoteErrorsAsWarnings
EXPLAIN !!L_PromotingerrorsaswarningsExplain
END POLICY

TO

KEYNAME Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security
VALUENAME PromoteErrorsAsWarnings
VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0
EXPLAIN !!L_PromotingerrorsaswarningsExplain
END POLICY
