How do I convert a openoffice doc (.odt extension) to msft doc?

Hi, I have a very short query and hope you guys can help me out. I’m having some Openoffice documents with .ODT extensions. Recently I installed Office 2007 on my laptop. So I wanted to know whether there is any way I can convert my OpenOffice files with .odt extension into Word’s .docx extension?

I’m not sure whether if the converter add-in for Office works on .ODT templates as well as on .ODF files, if you don't have an Open Office version installed.

You can easily convert Odt to Doc files by using the toll provided here http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter/
