After installing Office 2007 I can no longer view MDI files

There are number of mdi files on my system. I had saved them from Office 2003. Now after performing a Office 2007 update I found that no longer I can open mdi files. They are not working at all. None of the office applications can open mdi files. It is a bit annoying to open them. Is there any application which is removed from the new pack and I have to install that separately. Rightnow Office 2007 allow me to create mdi files but it cannot open it.

Try to right click on the file and click on Open With. A box will open and in that you can find some set of application that can open it. By default in Microsoft tools you can surely find the software that would open it. There are some easy to use third party program available that works really well with mdi files. And they are also not at all complicated to use.

Try to run a repair setup of Microsoft Office 2007. It would fix the issue. When you are installing the setup it is necessary that by default you must check all the options. So that each and everything is installed. If any of those are missing the problem can be common.
