Ms Access throws "This recordset is not updateable. "

I am getting an error that says "This recordset is not updateable." in the status bar of access forms. We have got a client application called Client.MDB and database Data.Mdb. There are many forms with Client.MDB that uses the tables that are found in the Data.mdb. The access forms access the data from Attached Tables. It is quite strange as we do not try to update the data in these forms and we just have controls that are bound to an access Query. By the way we are using Access 2003 with MDAC 2.8 on Windows XP. Thanks for the suggestions.
