where are emoticons stored

Does anyone know where emoticons are stored for Office Communicator? Can new
ones be created?

there should be a folder located on your C:/ drive within the program files
folder for your particular messenger that you are using.

the emoticons folder will be inside the folder of the messenger that you are
using. depending on what messenger you are using, some times you are able to
customize your own emoticon. the only way to find out is to check within your
menu bar of the messenger.
